The article discusses the legal foundations of citizens' participation in law-making, basic scientific and applied aspects of the implementation of the right of citizens to participate in the law-making process. Particular attention is paid to urgent problems and contradictions in legislation that restrain the development of this institution in modern Russia.
В статье рассмотрены правовые основы участия граждан в правотворческой деятельности, базовые научные и прикладные аспекты реализации права граждан на участие в правотворческом процессе. Уделено особое внимание актуальным проблемам и противоречиям в законодательстве, сдерживающих развитие данного института в современной России.
