"ПО ОДЕЖКЕ ВСТРЕЧАЮТ...": КОСТЮМ КАЗАНСКОГО МЕЩАНИНА ПЕРВОЙ ПОЛОВИНЫ XIX ВЕКА

Abstract

В статье предпринимается попытка реконструировать одежду казанского мещанина первой половины XIX в. Основным источником послужили описания имущества казанских мещан, что позволило получить представление о различных видах верхней и нижней одежды, обуви, головных уборов, в том числе материале, цвете, деталях отделки, степени изношенности. Исследование показало, что, несмотря на определенные отличия одежды мещан-татар от русских, мещанский костюм представлял собой традиционную городскую одежду рядового обывателя, мало затронутую модными тенденциями. Таким образом, социокультурный менталитет мещанина оставался еще на сословном уровне.
