Abstract

A multigrid algorithm for the elliptic equation with a small parameter $\varepsilon$ multiplying the highest derivative is investigated. The difference scheme with property of $\varepsilon$-uniform convergence on Shishkin mesh is considered. To increase the accuracy, the Richardson extrapolation is applied. Numerical results are discussed.
