Antibiotic Sensitivity of E.coliin Patients with Chronic Pyelonephritisand Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract

91 patients were examined during the study. It was a retrospective pharmacoepidemiologic analysis of medical documents of the patients, who were treated in a hospital of Volgograd in 2013. Results: E.coli infectious agents are commonly found in the patients with calculous pyelonephritis and type 2 diabetes. The drugs with the greatest sensitivity to E.coli were: carbapenem - 89.4%, amoxicillin + clavulanic acid - 61.5%, cefotaxime - 76%. It was found that E.coli has the highest resistance to ciprofloxacin and ampicillin.
