Abstract

В статье предпринимается попытка исследовать особенности освещения европейского миграционного кризиса британской газетой The Independent. Автор рассматривает материалы газеты за 2015-16 гг., отражающие различные аспекты данного явления. Автор приходит к выводу, что миграционный кризис освещается газетой The Independent с левоцетристских, проевропейских позиций.

The article deals with assertion of how The Independent newspaper covers the European migrant crisis. The author analyses the newspaper's materials published in 2015 - 16 covering multiple aspects of the above phenomenon. The author concludes that the migrant crisis is being covered by The Independent from left-centrist, pro-EU standpoint.
