In this paper there are data on the distribution and coenotical features of rare for Siberia species - Ruppia maritima L. and Ruppia cirrhosa (Petagna) Grande in Central Siberia (Khakassia). Ruppia maritima communities have been observed in small, shallow lakes with a salinity of 28,8-53,3 g dm- 3, Ruppia cirrhosa community were found only in Shunet Lake (mineralization 11.8 g dm-3). Ruppia communities were attributed to corresponding associations - Ruppietum maritimae Iversen 1934 and Cladophoro-Ruppietum cirrhosae Verchoeven 1980 in accordance with Braun-Blanquet classification.
