Колорема «золотой» в контексте русской символистской поэзии

Abstract

The article presents the comparative analysis of the Russian symbolism poetry in the field of the coloreme “golden” perception. The linguistic approaches, styles and tendencies of color perception of this lexeme among the works of D. Merezhkovsky, V. Bryusov, Z. Gippius, M. Lokhvitskaya, P. Solovyova, V. Ivanov, K. Balmont, F. Sologub, A. Bely, A. Blok, etc. are taken into consideration. The topicality of the conducted research is stipulated by the frequency of chromaticisms in the Silver Age of Russian Poetry. The comparative analysis of the usage of the coloreme “golden” allows to comprehend the way the Symbolists created their works: to describe the peculiarities of sensorial perception of light, to convey the variety of the lexemes of color, to characterize their generalized symbolic meaning, to estimate the role of color nomination in the dialogue between the poet and the reader, in creation of the individual style. The cases of the semantic expansion of color terms and its figurative and symbolic usage are observed, to be more precise — when an adjective denoting color becomes polysemantic and multifaceted.
