Одна из важнейших задач для Калининградской области и города Калининграда на сегодняшний день - развитие успешной туристской дестинации. По мнению авторов, для успешного развития туризма в городе Калининграде необходимо тщательно исследовать ресурсы городской культуры и провести необходимую трансформацию городского социокультурного пространства
