Methodical approach to the assessment of financial stability of a credit institution as a factor of a "healthy" financial structure of the organization

Abstract

In this article the author considers the issues related to the financial stability of the credit institution, in particular, the problem of choosing the approach to the definition of "financial stability". The definition of the concept depends on the overall presentation of the financial position of the credit institution. A comparative analysis of existing domestic and foreign methods to determine the advantages and disadvantages, on the basis of which the author builds "modified" method for assessing financial stability. The main conclusions of the study are the developed tools that allows to comprehensively assess the financial stability of the credit institution and to make an appropriate strategic decision based on the result. The scientific novelty of this problem is the development of the author's definition of the concept of "financial stability", which gives a complete picture of the studied financial category.

Автором рассматриваются вопросы, связанные с финансовой устойчивостью кредитной организации, в частности, проблема выбора подхода к определению «финансовая устойчивость». Как известно, от определения понятия зависит и общее представление финансового положения кредитной организации. Проводится сравнительный анализ существующих отечественных и зарубежных методик с целью определения преимуществ и недостатков, на основе которого строится авторская «модифицированная» методика для оценки финансовой устойчивости. Основным выводом исследования является разработанный инструмент, позволяющий комплексно оценить финансовую устойчивость кредитной организации и принять соответствующее стратегическое решение на основе полученного результата. Научной новизной выступает разработка авторского определения понятия «финансовая устойчивость» с полным представлением об исследуемой финансовой категории.
