Sensitive and resistant to malathion and fenpyroximate the inbred two-spotted spider mite strains were obtained by disruptive selection. Family selection of genotypes of single females offspring was carried out based on mean arithmetic indices of the death rate (%) after treating mites with the diagnostic concentration of the each acaricide. Inheritance of the character of resistance was determined using the mortality rate of families of hybrid females of the F1 progeny and of the analyzing crossing Fa. To compare the biochemical mechanisms of resistance to acaricides related to the chemical classes of OP and METI, the molecular marker of the resistance gene for OP-carboxyl-esterase isozyme E3 was revealed by electrophoresis.
