В статье рассмотрен процесс "угасания" иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции, а также связанное с ним явление языковой аттриции. Для замедления этих процессов предлагается повышение мотивации обучающихся и использование метода интервальных повторений.
The article discusses process of competency loss and related phenomenon of language attrition. To slow down these processes it is necessary to increase student motivation and to use spaced repetition method.
