VIBRATION ISOLATOR

Abstract

Device for isolating structures from vibration, which comprises a rolling body (8) which is situated between an upper bearing shell (6) and a lower bearing shell (7), whereof the bearing shell (6) and/or (7) are/is mounted in a vertically sprung manner, the rolling body (8) is designed to be rotationally symmetrical, the rolling surfaces (12) of the rolling body (8) are formed with a radius which is greater than half the height of the rolling body (8) and thus have a lens-shaped form, the rolling surfaces (9) of the bearing shells (6, 7) are designed to be planar or rounded, and the vertical springing (13) of the lower and/or upper bearing shell (6) or (7) has a non-linear S-shaped profile.
