Dziecięcy antysemityzm - doświadczenie Michała Głowińskiego

Dziecięcy antysemityzm - doświadczenie Michała Głowińskiego

Abstract

The author of this article attempts to describe the phenomenon of child anti-Semitism by referring to the experience of Michał Głowiński, who as a child fell victim to anti-Semitic behaviour on several occasions by his peers. The article analyses excerpts from Głowiński’s texts in which he recorded this experience. The author of the article draws attention to the changes Głowiński introduced when recounting the same events in his subsequent books. They are testimony to the evolution that took place in Głowiński’s understanding of the reasons for the occurrence of anti- Semitism in children. In order to give a broader picture of the phenomenon in question, the author of the article cites examples of child anti-Semitism described by writers other than Głowiński – Bogdan Wojdowski, Jerzy Andrzejewski, Henryk Grynberg, Roman Gren and Jelena Czyżowa.

Artykuł analizuje fragmenty tekstów, w których zapisał on to doświadczenie.
