The main scientific goal of the article is to analyse the phenomena of destructive entrepreneurship. Taking into account the current economic theory, entrepreneurship is a very important constituent of economic growth and its positive influence on the performance of contemporary economics is emphasized. I have decided to undertake this subject due to the fact that until now the state of the art in the range of investigated subject is of general character. What is more, the forms of unproductive and destructive entrepreneurship are very often marginalized. The negative influence of destructive entrepreneurship (in business entities) on the process of growth and performance of economies is not noticed. The article uses the approach of analysis and criticism of the literature, which makes it possible to find the missing links in the available literature, for example in the area of conceptualization. From the economic point of view the concept of destructive entrepreneurship is discussed if an activity disturbs economic growth and destroys well-being. For the purpose of bridging the gap in the cognition of this type of entrepreneurship, the examples of destructive entrepreneurship have been presented. The article finishes with a summary indicating the determinants of destructive entrepreneurship that cause negative socio-economic.

Głównym celem artykułu jest analiza zjawiska przedsiębiorczości destruktywnej. We współczesnej teorii ekonomii przedsiębiorczość jest bardzo ważnym elementem wzrostu gospodarczego, podkreśla się jej pozytywny wpływ na funkcjonowanie współczesnych gospodarek. Autorka zdecydowała się podjąć ten temat, ponieważ dotychczasowy stan wiedzy w zakresie tematu ma charakter ogólnych rozważań oraz marginalizuje się przejawy nieproduktywnej i destruktywnej przedsiębiorczości. Negatywny wpływ przedsiębiorczości destruktywnej w podmiotach gospodarczych dla procesów wzrostu i funkcjonowania gospodarek nie jest zauważany. W artykule zastosowano podejście analizy i krytyki piśmiennictwa, które daje możliwość odnaleźć brakujące powiązania w dostępnej literaturze chociażby w obszarze konceptualizacji. Z punktu widzenia ekonomicznego o działaniach destruktywnej przedsiębiorczości mówimy, gdy działalność zaburza wzrost gospodarczy oraz psuje dobrobyt. Ukazana została także kwestia negatywnego oddziaływania destruktywnych przedsiębiorców na podmioty ekonomii społecznej. W celu uzupełnienia luk w poznaniu tego typu przedsiębiorczości przedstawione zostały przykłady przedsiębiorczości destruktywnej. Artykuł kończy podsumowanie wskazujące na determinanty przedsiębiorczości destruktywnej powodujące negatywne skutki społeczno-gospodarcze.
