Immigrants and Basque nationalism

Abstract

Tematem artykułu jest zagadnienie baskijskiej imigracji i wizerunku "obcego", oraz refleksja nad historycznym i współczesnym miejscem i znaczeniem imigrantów w baskijskim nacjonalizmie. Autorka na podstawie własnych badań terenowych, przeprowadzonych w latach 2005–2009, przygląda się zmianie w sposobie postrzegania "obcych" przez Basków i zastanawia nad zasadnością twierdzenia, że zwiększony napływ cudzoziemców i stworzenie "wielokulturowej Baskonii" może być rozwiązaniem problemu nacjonalizmu baskijskiego.
