The aim of the lecture is to show potential role of structural resources in development of technology parks and influence of this kind of financing on managment and project arrangements. Realisation of modern city strategic investments as a technology park, financed with EU funds can contribute to fast and complex transormation of city space structure. The example of Manchester Technopark, the construction of which was co-financed by EFRR, indicates the importance of varied elements attendant upon preparation of the project. In conclusions influence on city structure as well as on spatial and economic advantages resulting from technology park realisation was presented.
