3D ispis u zraku? - potporne strukture i orijentacija

Abstract

Viseći dijelovi kao samostalne strukture nadograđene na podlogu ili prethodni sloj, sklone su uvijanju ili drugim deformacijama. Dakle, većina 3D aditivnih procesa proizvodnje poput FDM/FFF, SLS, EBM, LOM, PBIH3DP i STL predstavljaju u procesu kreiranja 3D proizvoda inkrementalno slaganje tankih, fleksibilnih slojeva. Problem visećih dijelova generički je termin za bilo koju „viseću“ strukturu (strukturu negativnog kuta). Ukoliko se radi o objektima čiji viseći dijelovi premašuju kut od 45°, potrebno je pribjeći korištenju potpornih struktura. Potporne strukture podrazumijevaju pasivnu strukturu koja nije dio ispisanog objekta, a daje mu strukturalnu podršku to jest onemogućava pojavu deformacije oblika. Upravo sve kompleksniji 3D modeli zahtijevaju mnoštvo visećih dijelova. Međutim, da bi se stvorio kvalitetan proizvod uz što manje otpada i pogrešaka potrebno je u ranim fazama projektiranja, vizualizirati potporne strukture pomoću softvera.
