Abstract

Udžbenik je napisan prema važećem programu nastavnog predmeta biologija za drugi razred gimnazije. Nastavni sadržaji ovog udžbenika izloženi su redoslijedom kako se i životinjski svijet razvijao na Zemlji. Učenice/učenici će pomoću ovog udžbenika stjecati nova znanja o sistematici, o morfološkoj i anatomskoj raznolikosti životinjskog svijeta te o funkcionalnom ustroju njihova tijela. Naglašena je gospodarska važnost pojedinih organizama kao i važnost njihove zaštite i očuvanja.
