Mogućnost primjene herbicida u krumpiru

Abstract

Proizvodnja krumpira uvelike ovisi o uspješnosti borbe protiv korova. Korovi krumpiru nanose direktne štete oduzimajući mu vodu, hhraniva, svjetlost te prostor nad i pod površinom tla. Negativan utjecaj korova na prirod može se kretati od 16 do 76%. Prema rezultatima Oerckea iz 1994. godine štetočinje općenito, krumpiru mogu umanjiti prinos i do 34, 8%. Po toj procjeni udio šteta od korova iznosi 7%, što znači da bolesti i štetnici krumpira utječu na prinos znatno više od korova. Za Hrvatsku procjene gubitaka se kreću oko 42%. Suzbijanje korova u krumpiru najčešće se provodi primjenom herbicida u kombinaciji s mehaničkim mjerama borbe.
