Development of the teachers' professional identity

Abstract

Rad je rezultat autorovog interesa za pitanja nastavničke profesionalnosti. U radu se donosi popis profesionalnih kompetencija kojima nastavnik danas mora ovladati, a ističe se i analizira pojam profesionalne kompetencije nastavnika. Taj pojam, uz znanje o području i nastavnom predmetu, podrazumijeva i znanja potrebna za rad suvremene škole, uspješnost rješavanja zadataka i osposobljenost za donošenje ispravnih odluka. Obaveza je nastavnika da postanu profesionalni nastavnici zato što obnašaju profesionalnu djelatnost odgojne naravi. Znanstveni doprinos ovog rada očituje se u definiraju vrsta osposobljenosti koje bi nastavnici trebali steći, a kojima odgovaraju dvije komponente njihova obrazovanja: opća i profesionalna komponenta. Na temelju analize zaključeno je da profesionalna kompetencija nastaje iz dinamičnog integriranja znanja, vještina, stajališta i vrijednosti, uz znanja koja se tiču činjenica, pojmova, načela i teorija te vještina intelektualne, tehnološke i praktične naravi, stajališta i vrijednosti bilo glede rada shvaćenog u njegovoj cjelovitosti i specifičnosti, društvenih, međusobnih i institucionalnih (službenih) odnosa ili u smislu percipiranja samoga sebe, skupine i šire zajednice. Postavljena je teorija koja pokazuje da ono što karakterizira nastavnike nisu ni osobna obilježja ni autoritet, nego izgrađenost osnovnih profesionalnih kompetencija. Uspješan nastavnik posjeduje profesionalnu kompetenciju planiranja i provođenja jasne i dobro strukturirane nastave, variranja nastavnih metoda i primjerenog praćenja učenika s različitim sposobnostima, te drži nastavu orijentiranu na ciljeve učenja.
