O subjektnim rečenicama uz obezličene glagole

Abstract

U članku se preispituje tradicionalna pretpostavka da su rečenične dopune uz obezličene glagole subjektne rečenice. Najprije se navode argumenti za takvu razredbu, a zatim argumenti koji govore protiv nje. Autor pokazuje da kriterij za razvrstavanje rečenica ne može biti mogućnost zamjene imenskom skupinom u određenom padežu, jer tada rečenične dopune uz obezličene glagole mogu biti razvrstane i među subjektne i među objektne rečenice jer kod nekih govornika mogu biti zamijenjene i imenicom u nominativu i imenicom u akuzativu. U suvremenim lingvističkim teorijama koje pretpostavljaju obostrano jednoznačan odnos između argumentne (tematske) i sintaktičke strukture te rečenice moraju u polaznoj sintaktičkoj strukturi biti na položaju izravnog objekta. Kao razlog za pomicanje imenskih skupina s položaja objekta na položaj subjekta uzima se potreba da se imenskoj skupini pridruži/provjeri padež. Isti bi razlog trebao vriijediti i za pomicanje rečeničnih dopuna, a to znači da odgovor na pitanje jesu li rečenične dopune uz obezličene glagole subjektne ili objektne rečenice ovisi o tome može li rečenica imati padež. Neki primjeri pokazuju da za takvu pretpostavku u hrvatskom jeziku nema valjana razloga, pa stoga autor zaključuje da je tu riječ o objektnim rečenicama i da je tradicionalna razredba najvjerojatnije pogrešna.
