Turistička arhitektura

Abstract

Tourist architecture, architectural creativity that includes buildings for various purposes that are directly and indirectly related to tourism and are relevant for the spatial-architectural tourist experience and experience and the smooth development of tourism in space. Architecture is an important factor in the tourist and cultural offer. The degree of tourist attractiveness of settlements (cities, villages) depends on the degree of their tourist recognition and preparedness, i.e. specific spatial characteristics, building culture and historical or contemporary architectural achievements. Although the term tourist architecture is often perceived as architecture for hospitality and tourism purposes, it includes all buildings and complex architectural complexes of a certain space that create and shape the overall tourist experience and meet all the needs of tourists. Buildings for various purposes (transport, hospitality and tourism, cultural, military, religious, sports, health, residential, agricultural, memorial, infrastructure, etc.) are relevant for shaping the conscious and unconscious experience in tourism.
