Koje su strane drvenaste biljke u Hrvatskoj invazivne – primjer paulovnije (Paulownia tomentosa Steud.)

Abstract

Invazivne strane vrste su uz gubitak staništa jedna od najvećih prijetnji biološkoj raznolikosti i uslugama ekosustava. Osim toga, mogu negativno utjecati na zdravlje ljudi, uzrokovati gospodarsku štetu i značajne troškove. Drvenaste vrste čine oko 10 % od ukupnog broja invazivnih stranih biljnih vrsta u Hrvatskoj, proširile su se na veća ili manja područja te imaju različit ekološki i gospodarski učinak. Predstavljeni su kriteriji prema kojima neke od stranih biljaka smatramo invazivnima na određenom području. Primjena kriterija u praksi prikazana je na primjeru paulovnije (Paulownia tomentosa Steud.), česte ukrasne vrste drveća u Hrvatskoj.
