Ekspresivi i pogrdnice u Jagićevoj historiji književnosti staroga doba

Abstract

Jagićeva Historija književnosti naroda hrvatskoga i srbskoga (knjiga prva: staro doba) iz 1867. imala je zamjetnu recepciju i vrednovanje kod povjesničara književnosti (usp. Hercigonja 1975., Ježić 1951., Kolumbić 1987. i 2007., Damjanović 2006.) pri čemu je posebno istaknuta Jagićeva težnja da književnom djelu pristupa sa širega kulturološkoga aspekta. Manje je zapažanja o Jagićevu stilu pisanja, o stilu njegovih raspravi posredno možemo svjedočiti iz bilješki o britkim filološkim kritikama pisanim njemačkim (usp. Katičić 2007) i hrvatskim (usp. Kapetanović 2007). U ovom se radu s aspekta pragmalingvistike raščlanjuje uporaba jedne skupine kulturološki obilježenih leksema, onih u funkciji iskazivanja negativnoga stava (pogrdnice i ekspresivi). Pomnim čitanjem vrši se selekcija primjera pogrdnica, kao leksema koji imaju funkciju pejorativnoga obilježavanja pojedinaca ili skupina s obzirom na rodna, etnička i druga kolektivna i stereotipna obilježja (primjerice: divlji, barbarski, bablje ludorije), i ekspresiva, kao kontekstualno uvjetovanih leksema obilježenih emocionalnim stavom govornika (primjerice: luda pogreška, neki, vajmeh) i to posebno u Jagićevu tekstu a posebno u tekstovima koje prevodi i prepričava. Zastupljenost i sintagmatske sveze odabranih pojavnica istraženi su pretraživanjem digitalizirane knjige. Prikupljeni podatci pridonose osvjetljivanju diskursa povjesničara književnosti do konca 19. st. te posebno osvjetljivanju osobitosti Jagićeva stila.
