Abstract

Dan je pregled bidecenijalnog razvoja zdravstvenih informacijskih sistema. Prikazan je sadašnji način gledanja na probleme tog područja na temelju postojećih sistema koji su uzeti kao tipični primjeri. Opisane su glavne karakteristike i tipovi zdravstvenih informacijskih sistema i razmatrana je njihova uloga u zdravstvenom radu, Naznačene su tendencije budućeg razvoja u tom području i izvedeni su zaključci o značenju zdravstvenih informacijskih sistema zdravstvene zaštitc.
