Hrvatska kulturna politika i izazovi globalizacije

Abstract

Impulsi globalizacije, posebno kulturne globalizacije, odlučujuće su utjecali na pad željezne zavjese i raspad socijalizma kao zadnjeg dijela nekapitalističkog svijeta u 20. stoljeću. U tom kontekstu osamostaljenje Republike Hrvatske predstavlja prijelazno razdoblje u dvostrukom smislu: iz socijalizma u kapitalizam i iz nesamostalnosti unutar jedne socijalističke federacije u nesamostalnost unutar Europske Unije i globalnog kapitalizma. Hrvatska kulturna politika može se opisati kao niz reakcija na takvo proturječje i ujedno pokušaj redefiniranja kulturnog identiteta zemlje koja gubi ekonomsku i političku suverenost netom ju je stekla. Posebno su analizirane tri vrste reakcija na kulturnu globalizaciju: globalistička, antiglobalistička i transformacijska. U zaključnom dijelu priloga iznesena su četiri prijedloga o tome kakva bi kulturna strategija bila optimalna za Hrvatsku.
