In this paper, we present an approach to use heart rate variability to measure long haul flight passenger's stress level non-intrusively. The measured stress level can be used as an aid to facilitate interactions between the user and on-board adaptive systems. User experiments which simulate real world long haul flights are done to validate the feasibility of the approach.
