Abstract

Jak muzea poświęcone Holokaustowi prezentują historie najmłodszych uczestników wojny? Jaką rolę w ich narracji odgrywają dzieci? Czy autorzy ekspozycji poświęcają im odrębne wystawy – czy raczej dziecięce losy są „wpisane” w ogólny przekaz dotyczący historii Zagłady? Czy muzealne prezentacje są poświęcone konkretnym postaciom czy społecznościom anonimowych uczestników wojennych wydarzeń? I wreszcie – czy autorzy ekspozycji dotykających traumy dostosowują swój przekaz do możliwości percepcyjnych młodego odbiorcy? Stawiając te pytania, autor artykułu analizuje linie narracyjne wybranych placówek muzealnych: Instytutu Yad Vashem w Jerozolimie, Muzeum Żydowskiego w Berlinie, Muzeum Holokaustu w Waszyngtonie, Wileńskiego Muzeum Historii Żydowskiej, Ryskiego Muzeum Getta i Holokaustu na Łotwie oraz Estońskiego Muzeum Żydowskiego w Tallinie.
