In the article the peculiarities of container transportations in Ukraine at the present stage of its development are investigated, the actual problems of development of container transportations, their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. The article considers the influence of the state on the development of container transportations and compares the dynamics for previous years in Ukraine.
