Charakterisierung des Betriebsverhaltens axial adaptiver Gleitringdichtungen mit Lufteinblasung

Abstract

Gasturbinen werden in der Energiewirtschaft zur Stromerzeugung eingesetzt und sind als Antriebe für moderne Flugzeuge aufgrund ihrer hohen spezifischen Leistungen und herausragenden Zuverlässigkeit nahezu alternativlos. Die aktuellen Entwicklungsziele werden neben der weiteren Steigerung des thermischen Wirkungsgrads zunehmend von der Steigerung der Flexibilität und der Verbesserung des Teillastverhaltens bestimmt. Mit neuartigen adaptiven Dichtungen, wie beispielsweise der axial adaptiven Gleitringdichtung mit Lufteinblasung (AFS), ist es möglich, geringe Spaltweiten über weite Betriebsbereiche einzuhalten und dabei einen berührungsfreien Betrieb der Komponenten bei minimaler Leckage zu gewährleisten. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit werden experimentelle und numerische Ergebnisse zur Charakterisierung des Betriebsverhaltens einer AFS beschrieben. Im Fokus stehen die Ergebnisse zum transienten Schließverhalten, dem Folgeverhalten bei bewegtem Gehäuse und zu den Einflüssen von Anströmung und Rotation. Erstmals werden experimentelle Daten zur Druckkraft und Luftfilmsteifigkeit für das Luftlager des Dichtsystems bei drehendem Rotor präsentiert. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit wird auf das Strömungsfeld und die Validierung der numerischen Strömungssimulation eingegangen. Aus den experimentellen und numerischen Ergebnissen werden Berechnungsansätze für den stationären Betrieb abgeleitet und eine beispielhafte Auslegung des Dichtsystems durch Optimierung einzelner Komponenten diskutiert.
