Abstract

The authors in their work consider the problem of the influence of the tourism industry on the sustainable development of the economy in the region, using the example of the Republic of Dagestan. The authors believe that the regional tourism industry faces the global task of creating a modern, cost-effective and competitive complex that meets the needs of domestic and foreign tourists in tourist services.
