Die gezielte Steuerung des Ladungswechsels als Werkzeug in der Brennverfahrensentwicklung

Abstract

Vor allem im Hinblick auf alternative und synthetische Kraftstoffe ist es notwendig, Brennverfahren zu entwickeln, die den jeweiligen Kraftstoff möglichst ressourcen- und umweltschonend umsetzen. Eine effiziente Entwicklungsumgebung ermöglicht es, dabei schneller zur optimalen Lösung zu gelangen. Das Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die Methode der Gestaltung des Ladungswechsels zu optimieren, indem iterative Schleifen von Ventilhubauslegung, Messungen am Motorenprüfstand und Auswertung reduziert werden. Kernbestandteil der Methode ist ein hochvariabler Ventiltrieb mit zwei synchron rotierenden Nockenwellen pro Ventil. Die individuelle Ansteuerung jedes Ventils erlaubt es, Einfluss auf die Ladungsbewegung zu nehmen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird am Forschungsmotor exemplarisch eine Brennverfahrensentwicklung für ein Brennverfahren mit einem frühen Einlass-Schließen durchgeführt. Hier kann insbesondere der Einfluss der Steigerung von Ladungsbewegung und turbulenter kinetischer Energie demonstriert werden. Die Ladungsbewegung kann gesteuert werden, ohne Einfluss auf Last, Restgasgehalt und Verbrennungsluftverhältnis nehmen zu müssen. Alle gezeigten Untersuchungen verwenden die Hubkurven, die der Ventiltrieb mit der gleichen Auslegung darstellen kann. Das Ziel, ein effizientes Werkzeug zur Gestaltung des Ladungswechsels im Rahmen der Brennverfahrensentwicklung zur Verfügung zu stellen, wird somit erreicht.
