Abstract

One of the widely used methods of work today is the drive-in drive-out (DIDO) or fly-in fly-out rosters (FIFO). The oil and gas industry is where it is most often used due to the remoteness of the territories. However, such enterprises face a number of problems, the main of which is staff turnover. The purpose of this article is to analyze the aspects of personnel management of an oil and gas enterprise in the context of DIDO and FIFO rosters. For this purpose, the author primarily focuses on conducting an analysis of the aspects of this type of work method at the oil and gas enterprises as well as identifies the problems of this field. As a result, the study points to the adaptation of personnel and the use of HR technologies. In addition, attention also should be directed towards the management of stress, motivational potential, the formation of teamwork, and so on.
