Abstract

The article deals with the problem of terror as a method of political struggle of the Socialist-Revolutionary Party. Based on the study and analysis of archival sources, we established the composition, strength and geographic location of the militant socialist-revolutionary organizations on the Don. Data are given on the number of attempts made by the Don Socialist-Revolutionaries, the perpetrators of the terrorist acts are found, as well as facts about the conduct of expropriations. Contacts with militants of other cities of Russia are revealed. Comparative analysis of the scale of local terror with other regions of Russia is conducted. The resulting factual material enables a more complete reconstruction of the political situation on the Don at the beginning of the 20th century.
