A replay mechanism which uses the recorded execution history to control the replay of program behavior and guarantees the reproduction of program errors is presented. Based on this approach, a non-interference monitoring architecture has been developed to collect the program execution data of a target system without affecting its execution. The replay mechanism has been designed to control the reproduction of the program behavior as well as the examination of the states and behavior of the target system. >
