Passive-active Relative Orientation in Automatic Assembly

Abstract

The article presents automated assembly at passive-active relative orientation. The research deals with automated equipment for assembly of cylindrical couple with clearance, using device for passive-active relative orientation (remote centre of compliance and active table). There is an equation determined for contact force along assembly axes used for control of process. The mentioned forces are experimentally defined.
