
This research analyzes the business strategy of Ciro Waste, a technology startup addressing waste management and environmental challenges in Balikpapan. Through innovative services like waste bank empowerment and the CIROES app, which features recycling, waste pick-up, and hazardous waste management, Ciro Waste offers comprehensive solutions. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study evaluates internal and external factors through IFE and EFE analysis, positioning the business in the IE matrix. With an IFE score of 2.58 and an EFE score of 3.13, Ciro Waste demonstrates strong growth potential. SPACE analysis reveals an aggressive strategic position, enabling the company to leverage strengths and opportunities. Positioned in Quadrant 1 of the Grand Strategy Matrix, Ciro Waste is poised to achieve sustainable competitive advantages and significantly contribute to Indonesia’s sustainable waste management initiatives.
