Статья направлена на проведение исследования в сфере деятельности свободных экономических зон. Ведущими подходами к данному исследованию является уточнение действующих определений, введение нового термина и классификации. Результатами статьи являются проведение анализа проблем и преимуществ зон свободной торговли мира и разработка на его основе оптимальной модели свободной экономической зоны с учетом особенностей страны.
