Eficiencia energética y flotas de transporte automotor de graneles agrícolas en puertos argentinos

Abstract

El artículo reconstruye y analiza la composición del parque automotor de vehículos pesados que circulan por los puertos y núcleos agroindustriales argentinos ubicados en Gran Rosario, Paraná Inferior, Quequén y Bahía Blanca. Se caracterizó la flota a través de la estimación de su antigüedad, tipos de bodega, tecnologías de eficiencia energética y sistemas de control de emisiones empleados a través de la aplicación de la técnica de observación directa no participante. Los resultados de este estudio evidencian no solo una disparidad en la modernización de las flotas según el área portuaria, sino también las posibles implicaciones en cuanto a su eficiencia operativa y a su impacto ambiental. Los resultados destacan la importancia de una evaluación detallada de las prácticas locales, lo cual ayudará a otros puertos a desarrollar intervenciones dirigidas y efectivas, a optimizar el rendimiento del transporte y a promover la sostenibilidad a nivel global.
