Die unkörperliche Sache

Abstract

The Austrian Civil Code has recognized both tangible and intangible goods as "things" since its inception in 1811. This study explores the significance of incorporeal things in Austrian civil law, revealing a paradigm shift in property law without any legislative changes. It highlights how the concept of incorporeal things has become central to evolving legal frameworks.
