Análisis de prácticas sustentables en empresas de La Plata, provincia de Buenos Aires

Abstract

El estudio surge por la necesidad de que los gobiernos de la región impulsen políticas que fomenten la adopción de prácticas sustentables por parte del sector privado. Algunos de los trabajos en los que se basa el presente artículo han sido los de Alizadeh, (2022), Bux et al. (2020)., Costache et al. (2021), y Zou et al. (2021). Los objetivos de esta investigación fueron evaluar las prácticas sustentables implementadas por las empresas, e investigar la relación de las prácticas sustentables con el nivel educativo universitario del responsable de la empresa, con la longevidad de la empresa, con el porcentaje de mujeres empleadas, con la falta de conocimiento y con la falta de recursos financieros. Para ello, se relevó una encuesta a empresas de la región de La Plata en noviembre de 2022, utilizando un enfoque de investigación cuantitativa y un modelo logit binario. Los resultados destacaron una mayor implementación de prácticas sostenibles en áreas como el compromiso con los clientes, el cumplimiento de regulaciones y prácticas laborales. Entre las variables estudiadas, solo la antigüedad de la empresa y la falta de conocimiento demostraron ser estadísticamente significativas para explicar el nivel de implementación de prácticas sostenibles. De esta manera, se corroboraron investigaciones anteriores (Alizadeh, 2022; Costache et al., 2021; Mahmood et al., 2021; Peter, 2017; Yeh et al., 2014).
