The research presents data about the clinical features and the spectrum of opportunistic infections in HIVinfected persons of the Chernivtsi region. An active involvement of the population into the epidemic process, a rapid clinical manifestation of asymptomatic HIV infection through the development of opportunistic infections are observed in the region. In most clinical cases a high rate of lesions of the skin, mucous membranes, the lymphatic, respiratory and central nervous systems was observed. A high percentage of co-infection of viral hepatites and HIV was fixed.
