ОБЩЕСТВЕННЫЕ ПРЕДСТАВЛЕНИЯ О СТАРОСТИ В ПРОСТРАНСТВЕ КУЛЬТУРЫ

Abstract

В статье автор показывает, что развитие общественных представлений о старости имеет свою специфику в каждую эпоху. Анализ социально-геронтологических взглядов позволяет автору проследить отношение к старости на протяжении всей истории человечества и выявить его перспективы. Предлагается новое осмысление некоторых проблем, связанных с поиском идеалов старости и соответствующих стратегий общественного развития. Главная установка заключается в том, что принятие и закрепление адекватных стереотипов старости как полноценного этапа жизни будет способствовать актуализации культурного потенциала пожилых людей.
