The recent constitutional reform initiative regarding administrative simplification that intends to eliminate the INAI, as well as its counterparts at the local level, is against constitutional principles that govern human rights, as well as the international legal framework, since it implies a regression that harms the correct exercise and protection of the rights of access to information and protection of personal data, by going against the guarantees of independence that they must have to ensure their correct functioning.
