ALTERAÇÕES NOS PADRÕES TECNOLÓGICOS DA AVICULTURA DE CORTE: IMPACTOS NA VIDA E NOS NEGÓCIOS DE PRODUTORES INTEGRADOS / CHANGES IN THE TECHNOLOGICAL PARENTS OF CUT POULTRY FARMING: IMPACTS ON LIFE AND BUSINESSES OF INTEGRATED PRODUCERS

Abstract

Abstract: Poultry farming is considered an important activity for Brazil, both in economic and social terms. Production in the country, in general, takes place based on the integrated production system, where the integrating company imposes production requirements on the producer, such as the adoption of technological systems. The producer, in turn, needs to meet the requirements, in order not to be excluded from the partnership. Given this scenario, this research aims to understand how changes in technological standards required by the poultry agroindustry impact the lives and businesses of integrated producers. From a qualitative approach based on the methodological strategy of narrative analysis, were interviewed eight integrated producers in the region of Grande Dourados, MS. The results allowed obtaining an in-depth knowledge of the production systems in the region and contributed to reflections on local practices related to poultry production by integrated producers.
