Formulation of 2nd rank tensor algorithm to calculate quadrupole moment and electric potential of Plumbum Zirconium Titanate (PZT) material

Abstract

A second rank tensor is very useful, especially in theoretical descriptions of multidimensional basis. This work has results such as formulating The Electric Quadrupole and Electric Potential algorithms from PZT material. The Electric Quadrupole and Potential can be described by analyzing each tensor in a 3x3 matrix on such characteristics: (i) the sum of the main diagonal elements is equal to zero (ii) symmetrical matrix. Tensor analysis on algorithm utilization is very effective, especially for materials with complicated multipole structures which require relatively large data calculations and predicts potential along perovskite’s structure. Fundamental theoretical descriptions and equipped with numerical tools are needed, especially for the comprehensive physics education instrumentation.
