Visual Media — Implementation of Aesthetic Potential of Journalistic Materials

Abstract

Having formulated the goal of the study — to consider the implementation of the aesthetic potential of journalistic materials through a visual media image, the author is consistently moving towards its implementation. The article consists of several interconnected parts, each of which is a logical continuation and addition of the previous one. The author mark out three different stages of the communication development: oral, verbal and visual. It substantiates the advantages of the visual era and visual image. There are examples of using a visual image when transmitting information — journalistic materials published on on the AIF.ru website containing this kind of image. Positive aspects, typical mistakes and shortcomings are noted.
