THE PROGNOSIS OF OIL-AND-GAS BEARING OF NEAR-KERCH SHELF OF BLACK SEA BY THE RESULTS OF STRUCTURAL, GAS-GEOCHEMICAL AND THERMOMETRIC RESEARCHES

Abstract

Forecast of the hydrocarbon accumulations on the Prekerch shelf has been presented. It is based on the analysis of geological, tectonic, geophysical, structural, geochemical and thermometric factors which have been investigated with the help of newly developed and patented technique, using special equipment (patent of Ukraine № 28176, dated March 3, 2009). This technique of the structural-gas-geochemical studies (STAGS) has been developed for integral approach to the problem of the forecast and search of hydrocarbon accumulation. The relation between the geochemical parameters has been considered. Features of the distribution of the anomalous fields of concentration of methane, concentration of radon and heat flux have been analyzed. Perspectives of oil and gas accumulations on the Prekerch shelf have been estimated.
