Abstract

El diseño biodigital y la inteligencia artificial (IA) son dos disciplinas emergentes que ofrecen un enfoque prometedor para la creación de soluciones innovadoras en la construcción de un futuro sostenible. La convergencia de ambas disciplinas busca desarrollar una arquitectura viva, que imite el pensamiento biológico, con el objetivo de producir sistemas autónomos y sostenibles. Los edificios generados desde este punto de vista pueden obtener energía mediante la fotosíntesis, regular su temperatura de forma autónoma, purificar el aire interior y optimizar su rendimiento, y reducir así su impacto ambiental. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo explorar los procesos que buscan la integración del diseño biodigital y la IA para producir resultados innovadores y sostenibles en el campo proyectual. A través del análisis de casos, se examinan las ventajas y desventajas de la unión del diseño biodigital y la IA, considerando su efecto tanto ambiental como social. Este artículo ofrece una nueva perspectiva sobre la interacción entre ambas disciplinas, resaltando su potencial para transformar la arquitectura actual y lograr un futuro habitable y respetuoso con el medio ambiente.
