Abstract

Deindustrialization of cities with a million-plus population, demunicipalization of urban economy has resulted in reduction in the living standards of large number of citizens, decline in the real incomes, and led to a struggle for existence which is constantly getting severe. The problem of urban poverty growth has lost a perspective of reasonable solution by means of further development of urbanism, which can result in a systematic dissolution of cities or a spontaneous pauperization and extinction. Was the disintegration of society predetermined to make a formation of communities, being small at first, and gradually increasing, happen in turn? What cultural type they will belong to? Is it possible to return to the city of Modernity or the Empire style epoch?
